Even for the mind that is trained in western thought, the environment is one of the key factors that greatly affects the development of the individual, and everything could be explained. This is also very true with Feng shui although it goes a step more than just what is outright tangible and explainable.

Buying a house by any language is one among the major decisions that one has to do. Not only will it influence the future of those who will reside in it, it could also well be one of the most expensive. Mistakes then have to be minimized if not eliminated. Buying a Feng shui house employs practices that do just that and the tag will not always be the prime consideration. Take for example the following guidelines:

? One of the best considerations in buying a Feng shui house (which Feng shui experts always have an eye on) will be a house that has a frontage with a bright hall effect. The bright hall effect means that the house has a wide and open area fronting it or a frontage where there is a space of land before the house. A house that has this feature in its property is considered a very auspicious Feng shui house. Sometimes, this feature alone could already bring the luck that the occupants will want to enjoy.

? This Feng shui house is better improved when its back faces a mountain or a rising slope, or a tall building. Open spaces behind the house do not really contribute that much. What is to be avoided though is a house where its back elevation is lower than the house itself unless something is done about it to correct the downslide. Another very useful guide is to buy a house that is on the same level as the road. A house that is higher than the road will even be better. Avoid those that are below the road level.

It seems like new information is discovered about something every day. And the topic of Feng Shui is no exception. Keep reading to get more fresh news about Feng Shui.

? Speaking of road positions, never choose a house that is on a T-junction where the direction where the T crosses is directly in front of your house. Have nothing to do with it even when it is sold at a bargain.

? Other things that should be considered when you want a Feng shui house is to watch out for what it termed as poison arrows and water flow and its direction.

One example of a poison arrow is to observe your neighbors’ roofline. If the slope of the roof is directed towards you, have this corrected by a pakua symbol. The principle is that there should be no sharp edges and protrusions that should be directed towards a Feng shui house. There should also be no trees and other obstructions blocking the front of your house, including tall buildings. This will prevent the natural flow of chi and will exert pressure on those who live in it.

Observe the flow of the water in front of your house. A Feng shui house will be more auspicious if the water in front flows from left to right when the house faces a primary path and the opposite when the house faces a secondary path. This should include the flow in the drainage and the flow in the house storm drains. If this is not observed properly, the residents will find difficulties in their careers as they are against the flow.

Remember that Feng shui is a mainly about wind and water. Every consideration must be taken so that the Feng shui house harmonizes with it.

Have you ever wondered if what you know about Feng Shui is accurate? Consider the following paragraphs and compare what you know to the latest info on Feng Shui.

It is not clear when did the principles of Feng shui start. Its development has been going on for centuries and has been applied countless times in China and today, in many places in the world.

One thing is clear though, Feng shui applies principles and practices, many of which could be scientifically proven, and is continuously gaining popularity.

When Feng shui was first heard in the west, it was dismissed as a collection of mumbo jumbo and superstition that has no solid foundation or basis. Whether it really has solid foundations or not remains to be a point of opinion. One thing is sure, one never argues with success.

You can find other tips in other pages of these articles in the practice of Feng shui and determine for yourself those that are directly applicable as it relates to scientific basis. For now though, Feng shui principles, will be discussed.

To find your place on this earth, and how you relate to the forces and motivations that guides and inspire you, you will have to know the following:

From your standpoint, determine the four main points of the compass and its four corresponding sub points. These will comprise your eight directions.

The North

Northern points motivate personal growth, new ideas, innovations, creativity, art, music, career and development.

To enhance this point and derive its benefits it is best to use and place here water elements like ponds, fountains, Jacuzzis, and tool sheds. As much as possible, avoid placing materials that represent the earth like, clay and rocks.

The Northeast is for enhancing spirituality, meditation, and inner journeys it also helps intellectual growth, reading and knowledge.

This is the place where you place earth materials, rock gardens, and equipments that are used for repairing, statues and where you refrain from having plants and trees. Designs on the materials should preferably be low and flat.

The East

Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Feng Shui, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.

Encourages healing, rebirth, rejuvenation and growth. It also contributes positively to family life and relationships. To get its benefits this spot should be a good place to have exercise equipments, fruit trees and medicinal plants and herbs, playground and family gathering area.

Have wood elements and its representation and avoid materials that are made from metals.

The Southeast invites wealth, prosperity, and material possessions and is the spot that makes for better communication. Use this spot to usher those in by using elements made from wood. It is also a good place to cultivate flowers and display fishes. Cylindrical objects also helps including columns and posts.

The South

This is the spot to dream those dreams for it is here where opportunity opens and aspirations happen. Recognition, achievement, long life, festivities, this is the place to have them and to tap your potentials.

This is the spot to use fire and its representation to enhance its capacity to help the person. This also the place to conduct barbecues, to burn leaves and have your fire pits. The shapes that go well with this spot are the pointed ones. Its opposite is materials that are representative of water. This is not a good spot for fountains and ponds.

The southwest is for love and romance, marriage and partners, motherhood and relationships.

Use earth elements in this spot. This is also a good place to dine, sit and talk with your partner, plan efforts that requires a team etc. Avoid as much as possible materials that are made of wood. The color green will help a lot.

The West
Is a place that is best for children and fun. This spot also aids creativity. Use metal elements but avoid fire and its representations. While this spot is good for entertaining, conduct your barbecue in the south. You can also decorate this corner with circular objects and arches.

The northwest is best for representations of activities that are outside of the home like trading, travel, supporters and sponsors including fatherly activities.

Use metal elements and objects made from this material.

Now that wasn’t hard at all, was it? And you’ve earned a wealth of knowledge, just from taking some time to study an expert’s word on Feng Shui.

This article explains a few things about Feng Shui, and if you’re interested, then this is worth reading, because you can never tell what you don’t know.

The ch’i as most of us already know is the life giving energy especially so from the point of view of Feng shui. For living then to be healthier it is very important that the ch’i flow freely with as little or no obstruction as possible. The following tips should help.

? Avoid clutter. If clutter obstructs the movement of the occupants in the house, it does similar things to the ch’i. Even for the sake of argument that one does not bank too much on the chi the way Feng shui believers do, clutter poses dangers that could go seriously wrong.

? The entrances to the home like main doorways, screens and gates must be free and clear. Clean the screens regularly and free the entranceways from shoes, slippers and dirt. The chi rides with the wind. This then goes inside the house. If that energy that gets into the house is not clean, that will again pose a danger to its occupants.

? The chi rests in water. It is then good advise to have an open fixture in the house that holds it like fish tanks and water fountains. If the chi that gets into the house do not find water from which it could stay, it will only continue riding and be dispersed by the wind. Water fountains, when positioned in a favorable location could attract good energy and be a vehicle that could provide you the things that you want out of life. Aquariums also do the same though when placed in an unfavorable direction, it could work the opposite resulting to problems and discord. On occasions where you want a fish tank in your house but could not consult a Feng shui expert, try the age-old practice of observation. If you find that the luck that you are getting is not too favorable, adjust and reposition the fish tank or the water fountain every four months or so until you get the results that you want.

It seems like new information is discovered about something every day. And the topic of Feng Shui is no exception. Keep reading to get more fresh news about Feng Shui.

? Children should not be allowed to sleep on mattresses on the floor. It will always be healthier to sleep on beds that have spaces beneath where the air could freely circulate and open those windows. Do not worry too much on the dusts that are coming whenever you can endure it. A stale air inside the bedroom results also in a stale chi that translates into stale energy. It will be far more than your times’ worth to sweep the room off the dust than to keep stale energy locked inside your bedroom.

? Never have double beds. The child sleeping on the lower deck, in most cases, is sicklier than the one sleeping on top. This is so because the child sleeping above will always have a better and fresher amount of fresh air while the one gets the stale ones. If a child falls ill, try transferring the child to another bedroom.

? Television inside the bedroom should be avoided. If it can’t, cover the tv with materials that are made of plastic, not cloth. Never face water and fire related fixtures opposite each other. For example a refrigerator should never be placed opposite a stove. They are ruled by opposing elements, which is believed to be contributory to the discord that could be suffered by the members of the household.

By now you would have noticed that most Feng shui practices are purely common sense. That is what Feng shui really is. Common sense. Although being involved in it will bring you to a deeper understanding on why things happen the way they do. Often, things and ideas that you already knew only need to be verbalized to better recognize. Many Feng shui principles though run very deep that would take some years of studying with experts if not consulting with them.

Would you like to find out what those-in-the-know have to say about Feng Shui? The information in the article below comes straight from well-informed experts with special knowledge about Feng Shui.

The Chi, a positive energy that brings in prosperity, should always flow freely through different areas in the home. The following are simple feng shui tips for the different areas in the home.

The kitchen

- The stove must be away from the door, but the cook should be able to see the door. If not possible, install a mirror.

- Never position the stove opposite the sink, refrigerator, or dishwasher. A clash of the elements fire and water is not a good idea.

- Keep your cupboard and refrigerator well stocked with food supplies. It implies wealth and abundance.

- Avoid positioning the stove directly in front of a window. Placing the stove to the side of a window is better.

The bathroom or toilet

- Never place the toilet opposite the kitchen. The feng shui fire and water elements will clash in this situation.

- The toilet must not be placed adjacent to the front door. Place the toilet somewhere far away from the front door.

- Avoid positioning the toilet door directly opposite the front door. This may lead to wasted opportunities.

- Place a huge mirror behind the bathroom sink. But never use the kind that is split in the middle, often seen in bathroom cabinets.

- Make sure that the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom and toilet are not leaking, especially the faucets.

Those of you not familiar with the latest on Feng Shui now have at least a basic understanding. But there’s more to come.

The bedroom

- The bedroom should not be adjacent or opposite to a bathroom or toilet. If this is unavoidable, make sure you keep the bathroom or toilet door closed at all times.

- Position the bed as far away from the door as possible. But make sure you still have a good view of the door from the bed. At the same time, do not place your bed where your feet are pointed towards the door when you are sleeping.

- Mirrors should not be placed where they reflect your image as you sleep. Round and oval shaped mirrors are ideal, but make sure they are larger than your head.

- Sleeping directly on the floor is not suggested as it does not allow the Chi to flow beneath you.

The stairway

- Traditionally, the favorable number of steps in a stairway is an odd number. A spiral staircase is also a blunder because it confuses the Chi.

- The worst mistake that can happen is when the staircase leads directly to the front door. This leads to the loss of opportunities, and the residents tend to be always rushing, seldom settling in.

- A good way to slow down the flow of Chi outside the front door is to hang a wind chime on the ceiling above the base of the staircase. A heavy figurine at the floor level below may also act helpful.

Lobbies and hallways

- Hallways need to be free of impediments and are needed to be well lit. It should also be clear to anyone where they are to go next in the house.

- A nice piece of art may be hung on the wall to the end of a hallway. However, never place a mirror there; it will only reflect back the entering Chi.

- There should be no hallway in the house that leads directly to a toilet. If it is already there, just make sure the door is closed at all times.

These are some tips to overcoming and preventing Chi flow problems, giving you a harmonious feng shui home.

This article explains a few things about Feng Shui, and if you’re interested, then this is worth reading, because you can never tell what you don’t know.

Ask any good Feng shui consultant and they will tell you that there are no fixed cures for all positions in Feng shui. A good Feng shui house for example may be good during the time it was constructed, but in Feng shui everything is fluid. Time and things changes. Unlike science where there are fixed answers to questions that would be consistent and will give the same result over and over, Feng shui does not. But like science, Feng shui gives answers that are very specific, at least for a definite period of time. This is where the Feng shui compass or the lo pan is useful.

Any Feng shui design, decoration and orientation without using the Feng shui compass will only be a design preference. The orientation that are gathered and the designs and the decorations that are spent to follow a Feng shui principle will not give out its maximum effect. For some it would mean very little and with the passage of time it will amount to nothing.

While it is true that there are eight basic compass direction, a Feng shui compass reading goes far beyond that. For example, a Feng shui reading is dependent on time. There are 24 hours in a day and so there are 24 main divisions. A Feng shui’s time frame of effectivity is about 20 years. Multiply that and factor in the number of different floor plan layouts and your answer to different Feng shui house types is actually infinite. Again there are no fixed cures; this is why the Feng shui compass is very important. It’s reading will determine the particular map of energy of a specific type of house or an edifice. Another thing is that the effectivity of Feng shui is diminished and after 20 years, the energy flow that you once enjoyed will now is gone.

If you find yourself confused by what you’ve read to this point, don’t despair. Everything should be crystal clear by the time you finish.

It may not come as a surprise then why the harmony, prosperity and well being of the occupants in the house will now be very much altered than what it was 20 years ago. When the particular period has elapsed, it could be a time you will have to re map, do another reading and realign your house to the changed direction of the energy that is flowing.

Feng shui is exact. The answers are all very specific. What makes it confusing though is often the different level of expertise of the practitioners. The effectivity of the Feng shui reading will often depend on the depth of knowledge of the Feng shui consultant that you employ.

A Feng shui consultant who can provide readings and cure in a whiz may not often be the right consultant. When the readings are done without the aid of a Feng shui compass, start asking questions because the effectivity of Feng shui designs hangs largely on the accuracy of the reader.

You can make your own readings too. Feng shui compass reading and by extension, the practice of Feng shui is not really a very difficult art to master what it take is diligence. This way you could be in a better position to know whether your Feng shui consultant is doing a good job or not. In the Internet are many different stores to shop from. Often they are willing to provide help and instruction to their customers.

This interesting article addresses some of the key issues regarding Feng Shui. A careful reading of this material could make a big difference in how you think about Feng Shui.

It is universally preferred that bedrooms must be rectangular in shape. A square shaped bedroom follows this preference then come the bedroom that is irregular in shape. This is so because the rectangular bedroom is the easiest way to decorate. Most items and furniture that goes inside the bedroom are rectangular and the decoration and items are better suited for that which takes on the shape of the room. The more irregular the shapes of the room, the more discomfort the occupant of the room feels, sometimes for reasons that are really not easy to dip a finger into.

For Feng shui experts, these could be explained in several ways and takes into consideration a lot of variables. But first things first. The most important room in the house is the master’s bedroom. This is the room where the Don Juan Tenoso of the house is bedded, the chairman of the board finds solace and the supreme pontiff rests. What happens in the main bedroom will affect to a very large extent the harmony all over the house, its well being and its finances. And so for Feng shui experts, this is a room that is taken very seriously.

To make this bedroom fit for the one who exerts the greatest influence in the household, careful considerations are placed. Examples are:

The direction of the bedroom in relation to the general house design, its sector from the point of the compass, and its shape. The position of the bed, the colors that are and should be employed including the decorations that are most appropriate. For Feng shui experts, this goes without saying that even the smallest of detail must have relevancy similar to how a modern interior decorator does in making judgments and decisions.

The best time to learn about Feng Shui is before you’re in the thick of things. Wise readers will keep reading to earn some valuable Feng Shui experience while it’s still free.

The shape.
While it is often best to have a rectangular bedroom, there will always be the personal preference of the occupant. If the room happens to be irregular in shape, screen dividers that signify good fortune are often employed. The fun thing though is that, often these screen dividers will be placed in such a way that the configuration of the room will be altered to a semblance rectangularity. While mirrors are often placed in posts to direct flow of the chi, these are not employed in the bedrooms as Feng shui cures.

Positioning the bed.
In Feng shui every individual has a Kua number. This determines the best position for the bed and is decided by Feng shui experts. If the best position cannot be achieved because of the location and direction of the room, the next best direction is chosen. As mentioned the kua number is a more personal thing and so the Feng shui expert is in a position to make the determination as this also involves placements of the kua trigrams in the eight direction of the room where each represents a family member and their individual directions.

The Color.
As bedrooms are places of rests, it is not wise to make rooms, decorations, sheets etc. to be brightly colored. Muted colors are preferred. Some aspects of these though could be changed depending on the personality of the occupant and which side of the character needs to be augmented. The general rule though is not to make the room appear neither too yin nor too yang.

For decorations, Symbols of love placed in the direction of the South and the West is believed to enhance relationships and love.

The day will come when you can use something you read about here to have a beneficial impact. Then you’ll be glad you took the time to learn more about Feng Shui.

When you think about Feng Shui, what do you think of first? Which aspects of Feng Shui are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge.

Ask any good Feng shui master. He will tell you that everything has energy: objects, the air, the earth, all the elements, and even thoughts have energies. The person is one of the better sources of energy, too. A person’s energy is a determinant of bad Feng shui or good Feng shui. What we think, how we react to things, the attitudes that we place on events and those surrounding us, they could influence what is beneficial and what is not.

I have heard a famous Feng shui master once in a television show just before a New Year was to start. The master was asked, “What is the best Feng shui remedy? The master answered, “The heart of a person, everything else is secondary to it. If you have a good heart, you have very little to fear.”

In a nutshell what he was saying throughout most of the second half of the show was that “a good heart can counterbalance the entire negative chi that will be thrown on the person”. Feng shui however are excellent aids to a better life in that since nothing is perfect, attracting additional energies that would bring us into better harmony with our surroundings and the people on it must be drawn to our improvement. It follows then that even with the best Feng shui, people’s lives could still be miserable when it is not coupled with the intentions of harmonizing with anything and everything.

Since the essence of a Feng shui life is harmonious interrelationships and attitudes, it is not enough to have the best Feng shui house with spacious bright hall effect frontage when poison arrows from your corner inadvertently points at a house fronting yours. The occupants opposite yours could take vengeful cures.

Sometimes the most important aspects of a subject are not immediately obvious. Keep reading to get the complete picture.

Even the best of decorations and symbols that were placed inside your home may not be so potent, as you would expect, as these could take the energy of workers who made them. These are particularly true with mass produced items that have workers that are overworked and underpaid.

This is why even when you would want to live a good Feng shui life care must be taken.

The popularity of Feng shui today has also drawn out scammers and frauds that are always there waiting on the sidelines to pounce at any unsuspecting client that they could lay their paws on. To think that a good Feng shui life and guidance should start from a Feng shui consultant may to say the least, be taken with caution. This is where Feng shui life could start and draw its greatest effect.

The Feng shui consultant that is about to lead you into the life of Feng shui should be above reproach and you could easily know this by the successes that have been accomplished before. Forget about grand titles and the smiles. A good Feng shui consultant leads a good Feng shui life and this should endow them with humility.

Because a Feng shui life basically starts with respect, it is the humility of accepting that there are forces in nature that one has to live in accordance with. It is a life that goes with the flow of things the way they are instead of dominating and controlling them. Living a Feng shui life is not a life of yes or no. Neither is it always black or white. Rather, Feng shui life is living, prepared to make compromises if that could enhance the ability to go with what is natural and with what is beautiful.

Those who only know one or two facts about Feng Shui can be confused by misleading information. The best way to help those who are misled is to gently correct them with the truths you’re learning here.

In Feng shui, all areas have their energy fields. The best indicator to harmonize with these fields is the bagua map. What does the bagua tells you according to the different zones in a space. The indicators must be followed so that you are in harmony with the environment and the forces around you.

The bagua map as applied to a classroom brings similar results. Here’s how.

Pay close attention to the way the furniture, desks, board, tables, and chairs are arranged. The arrangements should coincide with what the bagua map indicates. Know that there are five basic elements in Feng shui, the fire, water, earth, metal and wood. Once you know what the bagua map indicates, the things that you bring to the classroom and how you arrange them should be in harmony with these elements.

Arranging the classroom according to what the quadrants in the octagon in the bagua indicates will improve the results that you want to achieve in it.

There are occasions though that you cannot arrive at an open position in the classroom that is in accordance with your bagua map. This may be due to the limitation of space, the basic design and structure and the positioning of the classroom. If this is the case, you can still arrange the classroom in the conventional style that has rows of desks arranged one in front of the other and in a lined way. This is still okay provided you place objects and decorations that coincide with what the bagua map require, but keep this kind of arrangement as a second option. The best way will always have the classroom arranged in line with the zones that the bagua map indicates.

The Feng shui compass should also be employed, as this will indicate the most favorable position according to the eight compass directions. The information that could be derived here will enable you to find out the best orientation of the classroom and its furnishings.

Knowledge can give you a real advantage. To make sure you’re fully informed about Feng Shui, keep reading.

Other important things that should highly be considered is that the teacher must always have a line of vision that will enable him to look at all directions and a position where the back is not turned to the door.

The teacher is the most influential person in the classroom. Even with the limitation of design, the desk that he is working on should be according to the bagua map.

As with any space, sharp corners and protrusions in the wall disturbs the flow of chi. avoid a position whereby students will be in direct line with it.

Do something about open beams if there are any. The chi flows in a way that whoever would be positioned directly below the beam will suffer the extra pressure that is generated in those beams.

Students, especially the younger ones are good agents of clutter. One of the best things that the teacher has to do is to train the kids to avoid cluttering and dirtying the classroom. A Clutter free classroom is not only good Feng shui it is also an assurance that you are putting them out of harms way.

Classrooms are often students second home. It is only fitting for them to have a classroom that follows the principles of Feng shui.

Of course, it’s impossible to put everything about Feng Shui into just one article. But you can’t deny that you’ve just added to your understanding about Feng Shui, and that’s time well spent.

Are you looking for some inside information on Feng Shui? Here’s an up-to-date report from Feng Shui experts who should know.

The way people treat their environment and living spaces speaks very loudly on the attitudes and temperament of the people that are occupying it.

For this, there are two very obvious and distinct line of thought whether it is in the treatment of the space or just about anything else, the European design and the oriental way.

In designing gardens and the general landscape western thought will be inclined on a more utilitarian path. Lands has to be used, reshaped, maximized and in many cases result to artificiality. Hence, European designs will tend to control their environment by dominating it, conquering it; sanitizing it and making improvements on it that are more or less unnatural. Aesthetics is the main theme.

When it comes to gardens, the main practice would be to culture it and create displays of artificial beauty.

For the Orientals, often the opposite is done. What the oriental strives for is a more natural setting where intimacy and tranquil experience is paramount and restraint, not flamboyance is observed.

This attitude in the treatment of their surroundings extends also to the manner by which the east and the west conduct interrelationships. While the European way would prefer definitive answers like a yes or no or a black and white, Orientals would try to seek compromises.

Because of this, European gardens would tend to be a statement of achievement in all its manipulated grandeur while a Chinese garden would be more spiritual and more in the flow of the landscape, not seeking primarily to improve it as to breath the natural experiences from it.

Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Feng Shui, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.

This is why a European garden will have geometrical lines, straight lines and sharp angles cut into it while an oriental garden will have none of it. This is also why European designs changes from era to era according to vogue that is the trend of the present. Orientals on the other hand are content with designs that while they are sometimes enhanced, has also endured and as unchanging and as eternal according to what nature and spirituality intends it to be.

There is a basic reason for this.

The oriental gardens and by extension (and as adopted) the Feng shui gardens, take into consideration, a basic respect to experiences and humility towards the natural.

Neither too ideal nor too religious as to place these precepts above the now and the real life, as they know it, they have better ability to conform more naturally to their environment. While the west builds high walls around them and calls these as living spaces, the Orientals never feared the allure of the wild.

Instead of modifying the environment, the Orientals adopt their landscape elements in their Feng shui gardens such as the water, the plant, the structure and the slopes or mountains.

Feng shui gardens adopts the subtlety and contrasts of the yin and the yang to their gardens like variety and unity, scenery according to their subjective reactions, stillness and movement and generality and locality.

It doesn’t matter then whether one lives in an apartment or a condo unit or whether the garden has ample spaces to it. Applying the rules and principles of Feng shui will mean putting plants where they are most natural and will always result to a more natural feel by simulating a natural environment where there is healing and harmony.

Hopefully the sections above have contributed to your understanding of Feng Shui. Share your new understanding about Feng Shui with others. They’ll thank you for it.

Current info about Feng Shui is not always the easiest thing to locate. Fortunately, this report includes the latest Feng Shui info available.

You can see this symbol very often. They are in cemeteries, homes (particularly the entranceways) offices etc.

The bagua is octagonal in shape to represent the eight points of the compass. This is so because the eight compass points represent the different energy levels that one is supposed to attract. In Feng shui, the bagua corrects the orientation of an edifice or a village and is supposed to enhance the quality of life of people living in it.

The bagua is placed in such a way that it creates a mapping of the house where corners are determined whereby the occupants harmonizes with these zones for particular activities.

To appreciate the bagua better, imagine it as having eight points with nine quadrants.

? The topmost portion is divided into three zones namely (from left to right), the zone of wealth, reputation and partnership.

? The middle quadrants are family, taichi and creativity.

? The bottom quadrants represent zones for wisdom, career and helpful people.

The movements, intentions, activities and even the decorations in the house should as much as possible be in harmony with these zones so as to derive the benefits of the energy that it emits.

The following are the following zones with its corresponding numerical value and its energy association.

The topmost quadrants:

Wealth ? 4: The area associated with wealth does not only mean material possessions but all those that are of value to you.

Reputation ? 9: this is how those that you come to associate with perceive you.

Partnership ?2: this zone includes marriages, relationships, business dealings and friendships.

Sometimes the most important aspects of a subject are not immediately obvious. Keep reading to get the complete picture.

Family ?3: more than just a representation for family, this zone also represents ancestors, relations, work mates and friends.

Taichi ?5: The center of the bagua. It is very important to keep this one very clear.

Creativity ?7: This is the area for artistry, children, fun and the opening up of new projects.

Wisdom ?8: The zone has to do with intellectual growth and learning.

Career ?1: The area of passage. This is also for careers, job and opportunities and journeys.

Helpful people ?6: This zone is for people and relatives that are not around often including people who are not close associates.

The bagua outline influences the inside of buildings. For this reason, the zones with values 8, 1 and 6 lies on the jamb that holds the door. The door also has its own numerical value as with the people living inside those doors. Mapping out the area according to the bagua will require additional knowledge of the numerical values of the person or persons behind the door to get the most benefit form the energy that are flowing through it. Because of this baguas are better placed when the person doing them has a rudimentary knowledge of Feng shui, better yet, when a consultant is employed.

The bagua is also used to determine which area within the room house or building is beneficial. It is also a tool to map out those that are not and identify the differences. Examples of these zones within an area are:

? The millionaires corner where you keep your earnings and investments, and often a good place to plan out the business.

? The bankruptcy corners where you avoid keeping money matters.

? The Matrimonial discord corner.

? Marriage corner

? Divorce corner

? Bargain corner
